I am dreaming of a few pieces of The Line’s current selection for luxe investment pieces. I’ve been a huge fan of Vanessa Traina’s style for a long time and her eye for her buying is flawless! These Manolo Blahniks have been on my wishlist since I first saw them a few months ago….I am sad to say they are sold out of my size. Get yours before they are all gone! This post was made in partnership with The Line, Dermstore, and Tata Harper and contains affiliate links. As
Growing up in Seattle, we practically lived in fleece wear – whether it was a pullover, a jacket or a sweatshirt, a PNW girl’s best friend was fleece. So when Cuddl Duds approached me about their cozy pieces it was a match made in heaven. Truly, I can’t get over how soft their wrap is, not to mention the leggings. Come winter, I’m not going to want to wear anything else! Although basic fleece pieces can sometimes be perceived as only appropriate to wear casually or at home, I wanted to show that
Before Breast Cancer Awareness month ends, here is one more point of awareness in the form of a Monocycle podcast interview with Fashionista.com’s executive editor, who was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer when she was 21. Given the overwhelming financial resources that have been allocated towards research, we are uniquely positioned at this juncture to feel less helpless at the hand of breast cancer. As mentioned in a round table that ran earlier this month, though, it is precisely

Cardigan / Sweater / Hat / Duck Boots / Picnic baskets Ahhh, the great outdoors. There’s literally nowhere else I’d rather be! Whether it’s picnicking in the park, or exercising outside, I’m game for it all. Of course, having the right gear makes an outdoor adventure safer and more comfortable, and when the gear is cute it only adds to the fun.I put together two head-to-toe looks from Kohls.com for outdoor activities. While shopping for a cold-weather picnic, I discovered that Kohl’s
It’s Halloween and this is my version of goth with the things in my wardrobe. Granted it’s diluted goth but it’s a nod in that direction. The ripped dress was bought as is from Beacon’s Closet (you saw it here before) and I layered it with a bell sleeve knit to show you how I’d winterize it. The drama of a big sleeve made sense under it. Asos has this multi layered dress that would be brilliant instead though. Finished with pointy suede ankle boots and a church
I got my hands on this H&M blouse a few days before I left for Europe. It seemed like the perfect piece to make the transition to the tail-end of summer, and it ended up being a favourite come PFW. I tend to live in classic white shirts, so this little update was a welcome addition to the wardrobe, I love it paired back with a pair of vintage Levis jeans, or as it's getting warmer back home, a denim mini.- Wearing -H&M Blouse (similar) | Levis Jeans | Loewe Belt | J.W.Anderson Bag |
