WhatIWore: This morning I asked Felix ‘What should mommy wear today?” to which he replied “Blue!” and then “Jean!” Ok then! I’ve actually wanted to wear this high waisted bell bottomed pair so I paired it with a dress (worn as a top) and an olive green jacket. Eventually I lost the jacket and traded the jeans for shorts, but this made for a nice spring morning outfit. I love that these embroidered tops and dresses are having a moment, but you could easily replicate this outfit with a tee shirt

This dress is about three years old from H&M. My hair was long when I bought it and even though it did NOT make it to the chuck pile, I feel like now it’s too feminine for me. Like I’ve out grown the cut of it. The denim jacket updated it (even though it looks like something from the eighties which I like) or it would’ve stayed unworn. The crochet aspect will always appeal though so it’s a keeper (for now). If you have a long dress like this I say keep it too and

WhatIWore: Happy Monday everyone! Here’s something I wore last week when I was out to buy some final Christmas gifts with Felix. The two different pinks of the sweater and jacket aren’t a perfect match, but I think they’re close enough to look cute. I initially planned on wearing that little fair isle hat I knit up a few weeks ago, but thought the navy velour felt hat balanced out my flares better (both in color and silhouette). I like this one! They always have incredibly cool pieces that make for great additions to any wardrobe without breaking the bank. For fall and winter, my top picks happened to be black and gold, which all came together for a cozy, yet edgy look. I can't get enough of the

I love a good flare but the cropped version exposes the shoes so depending on the pair, this sort of wins… Dress: H&M. I have my eye on this Topshop print version teamed with ankle boots. Jeans: Juicy DIY hacked. Shoes: Zara. The shape reminds me of Marc Jacobs. Try Topshops ‘Magpie’ heels. Hat: H&M. Similar from Eugenia Kim (25% off site wide code: INTHEFAM25).
