This week marked the start of a whirlwind four weeks for stylish men around the globe - fashion month. London Collections kicked off the fashion week circuit for men, with the latest collections for Spring/Summer 2016 held across several venues in the English Capital. Outside, there were plenty of streetstyle looks to inspire - ranging from Fifties suede bombers to summer linen suits and - like always - plenty of sophisticated, leather lace-ups that make even a pair of shorts look da...
Being a photographer means always finding yourself in interesting new places and having crazy new experiences. For the #TiffanyNYMinute we found ourselves literally on top of Manhattan in a helicopter to capture the opening aerial shots… and I was terrified. Though the view was so stunning and thrilling to see the city I know so well in a new intimate way I pretty much felt as if we would fall from the sky at any second. But then again, I have an over active imagination. Though Kevin and I
Last week was a really exciting one for us both creatively and culturally. The past month we have been working feverishly on a series of cinemagraphs we made with the School of American Ballet we shot back in February. It’s always been a dream of mine to shoot ballerinas as I so admire their lines, pose, discipline and beauty of dance. As you saw, the cinemagraphs were displayed in the David H. Koch theater of Lincoln Center’s Metropolitan Opera House. These cinemagraph portraits
Yesterday we had another snowfall, and despite the fact I’m so over snow in general and am ready for spring, it was quite beautiful and very peaceful. Casey and I ventured out in it for a quick minute to grab some coffee, and the sweet man that he is, took these photos so that I could share this outfit with you guys. (I wore it out to dinner last night but seeing that it was dark I couldn’t capture it properly.) Hat: Rag & Bone / Jacket: TopShop (mine is no longer
New York: Ah, if you can’t be there, you may as well look at all the shows and street style and dream… The more I look at these images from New York Fashion Week, the more I realise they all have a lot in common – relaxed layers, sneakers and a tomboy aesthetic. I’m getting excited for Winter – but an Images via: Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, Le-21-eme, Popsugar, Fashionista, Refinery29, StyleCaster, SOURCE: Substance - Read entire story here.
This is my first Valentine’s Day with Casey and I’m so excited. He has a surprise planned and I LOVE surprises. I have no idea what to expect, but I know that no matter what we do, it will be a blast. With that said, this collaboration with Chloé couldn’t have come at a better time, seeing that their latest scent is called “Love Story” … and with February 14th just a day away, it got me thinking about my relationship and love story with Casey. I could go
Spent a week in New York right after my South Africa trip and boy, it was chilly! Even though it was chilly, I was secretly excited to wear all of my fall/winter coats! My suitcase was filled with warm weather jackets and I might have overpacked on purpose just so I could wear them all!… Read More SOURCE: Song of Style - Read entire story here.
Saturday was sort of a rainy, so we were pretty low key. In all honesty, we binged watched episodes of The Blacklist before finally peeling ourselves off the couch to head to Long Island City for a dinner with friends. Sunday was full of football and brunching, but then later on in the evening Casey and I met up with our friends Liz and Zack to go see The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze! We hopped on the train at Grand Central to Croton-Harmon and it only took us about 45 minutes to get there,
Casey snapped these photos right before I ducked into The Marlton to have lunch at Margaux with the Lauren Ralph Lauren team. It was such a fun way to spend the afternoon. The food was really good (hello cauliflower custard!) and I caught up with some friends I hadn’t seen in a while. Photos by: Casey The rest of the day was fairly quiet with a trip to the gym and then home to make dinner. Lately, I’ve found that mid-evening, around 8:30, has become my favorite time of day.
When the temperatures are rising during fashion week, the last thing you want to be dressed in is all black so I opted for pastel tones in this Chloé ensemble. First came this romantic ruffle blouse that I paired with a high waisted Chloé leather shorts, then I needed some color so I threw on a pretty… Read More SOURCE: Song of Style - Read entire story here.
I’m a fan of windowpane prints and stripes as you can see! I mixed different grid patterns in my outfit but kept it simple in white and black so it looked a little more uniformed during NYFW.I’m really digging this windowpane plaid print blazer for fall. I don’t really have any blazers with patterns so this… Read More SOURCE: Song of Style - Read entire story here.
