WhatIWore: Confession: I’ve never felt like I could live up to the role of cool girl. You know the type of girl that loves football, doesn’t wait around staring at her phone for a boy to call and that has confidence to spare? I’d rather watch PBS on Netflix, I can’t play mind games and I envy women that don’t give a hoot about what other people think. When I had Felix, I went through what could delicately be called an identity crisis. Paired with PPD, it took me many months before I felt like
WhatIWore: When I think woodsy, I think of a red and black buffalo check. I recently bought this scarf and I think it looks cute with a matching smaller check in the button down. I also like the way this whole top half of the outfit works with the boots. It’s like casual country girl and chic city woman all mixed up. I think? Anyway, I wore this on some errands with Felix the other day and I felt the perfect mix of comfortable and cute. When: October 21, 2015What:Shades: Karen
WhatIWore: Look who’s twinning it up today?! I saw this Indiana state flag onesie in the window of a local boutique and thought he’d look really handsome in it and then saw the women’s version and bought it for myself. Don’t we make a cute couple? I really like pairing graphic tees with more feminine skirts. It’s still an easy kid-friendly outfit (as long as you’re not crawling around all over the ground) but more than jean shorts and a tee (which I do wear quite regularly too). We wore these
WhatIWore: You know when you wear something that feels so totally and completely you? That’s a striped tee and circle skirt for me. Documenting daily style on this blog pushes me to be a little more creative, but let’s be honest, my favorites are showing up a lot more frequently on here and I’m absolutely ok with that! WhatIWore: Quick post today… I’m chasing after an increasingly speedy crawler! I bought this tee the other day on clearance and is part of a little stash of what I’m calling ‘Playground Tees’. They’re just basic shirts I can throw on with jeans or shorts and still feel pulled together. Plus I got ‘em on clearance (3 for $18!!) WhatIWore: This outfit is really nothing to write home about, but I’m posting it anyway. Why? Because this kind of dress and sweater combo is my reality. Yea, I wore the dress last week and I like it, so I’m wearing it again! I’ve been a little disenchanted with the blogging world lately with all of it’s perfection. The outfits have become astronimically expensive and disposable. I don’t have the budget or desire to wear things once. Sure, I have a dozen designer pieces I’ve invested in, but
